Associate Creative Director-UX/UI Design Position Summary
Centretek (part of SPM Group) is currently seeking an Associate Creative Director who is passionate about improving lives through thoughtful design. The Associate Creative Director will lead, mentor, and motivate the creative team while being responsible for high-quality deliverables. The Associate Creative Director will be involved in all stages of a project lifecycle, from research and wireframes, to polished prototypes, to handoff and QA. Centretek works primarily with healthcare clients, so healthcare experience is a bonus.

Your day to day is…
- Leading the creative team and advocating design decisions
- Mentoring the creative team to ensure deliverables are high-quality, on time, and within budget
- Efficiently producing wireframes, visual designs, and prototypes
- Developing the design vision and strategy in conjunction with the strategists and product managers
- Interacting with clients, whether through presentations or status calls
- Creating designs that follow the Atomic Design methodology in an agile workflow
- Simultaneously working on both large-scale redesigns and maintenance projects
- Creating and documenting design systems
- Providing maintenance work for legacy clients that adhere to predefined styles and branding
- Working closely with other designers, strategists, engineers, and product managers
- Staying on top of design trends and best practices
What you’ll need to be successful in this role…
- 6+ years of UX/UI Design experience
- Experience leading a team of designers
- BA/BS degree in Design or equivalent work experience
- Proficient in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Axure RP, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.
- A strong portfolio that illustrates complex problem-solving ability, comprehension of fundamental development frameworks, and design skills
- Agency experience, or understanding of a fast-paced work environment (experience in healthcare is a bonus)
- Both an eye for details and ability to see the big picture
- A life-long learner mentality with a growth mindset, open to feedback and expanding your skillset
