Centretek and St. Louis Children’s Hospital Partner to Re-envision Web Strategy

We’ve had the privilege of serving as St. Louis Children’s Hospital’s (Children’s) preferred digital partner since 2010. Centretek and the Children’s team launched their previous website on Drupal 7 back in 2011.

This time around we worked closely with our partners at Children’s to design and build an attractive, engaging digital experience that drives key conversions. Our work included extensive research and engagement with Children’s stakeholder groups, leadership, physicians and patients. The new website launched last month and is built with Drupal 8 on the Acquia Cloud.

Highlights

  • Improved information architecture and online patient experience.
  • Integration with InQuicker for emergency room appointment availability and online scheduling.
  • Integration with external Mom Docs blog article feeds.
  • Extensive use of Drupal taxonomies to connect and automatically cross promote related content throughout the site.
  • Streamlined and centralized clinical services, treatments and conditions content. Previously this content existed as separate sections.
  • Centralized Locations section better communicates the organization’s geographic footprint.
  • Integrated Health Resources that provide extensive resources for parents and caregivers. This content supports Children’s role as a leading provider of pediatric health and wellness information. Also includes API integration with third-party content syndication provider for general health information.
  • Enhanced Foundation section to support philanthropic efforts and drive online donations.
  • New Patients & Families and Visit Us sections to better support the needs of patients and families – including information to help parents prepare their children emotionally for surgery.
